Cool Girl Summer

You’ve heard of hot girl summer?  Well, we’ve been there, done that!   At Plants and Seeds, we’re having a cool girl summer.

 

Cool and confident as a cucumber.  We’ve got this!

 

Cool in the kitchen.  Oh, we got kitchen skills.

 

Cool in spirit.  Family, joy, flow.

 

It’s a relaxed wellness vibe.

But we’ve got goals, so we’re getting after those too.

 

Here’s what I’m focusing on this summer.

 

Yoga for flexibility, flow and an open heart.

 

Early morning/evening weighted walks for safe sunlight and healthy cortisol – Oh, I’ll be on the indoor walking pad too!

 

Turning off the oven some – hello salads, bowls, fresh produce and crockpot (scroll for fav nontox crockpot)

 

Less complicated meals – Who’s got time!

 

Eating seasonally and closer to the earth

 

Protecting my skin (sunlight 7-11 a.m. and 4-9 p.m. plus my fav clean moisturizer\sunscreen)  Limited mid-day sun.
